P.T.A GENERAL BODY

On 30 th June 2011 the P.T A General body meeting was held.Sri. P.U Thomas Chairman Navajeevan Trust conducted classes for parents. His talk was so inspiring and really informative

JUNE 30 th PROGRAMMES

DCL &KCSL Inauguration

The DCL and KCSL of our school was inaugurated on 30 th June 2011 by Sri Joseph Olickal,Circulation Manager Deepika and Fr Mathew Vempeni,our local manager, respectively.

VIDYARANGAM KALASAHITYA VEDI

The vidyarangam kalasahitya vedi of our school was inaugurated on 30 th June 2011. The inauguration was done by Sri Sunnykutty Azhakamprayil ,member, Manimala Panchayath.

NAMMUDE BHASHA PADHATHI

Sri K.M Joseph President Manimala Grama Panchayath inaugurated Nammude Bhasha Padhathi, a programme organised by Deepika.As part of this programme, 10 free copies Deepika Daily is provided to our students every day

VAYANA VAARACHARANAM

We celebrated the 4^th week of June as “Vayana Vaaram”. Extracts from the works of great authors were read out each day, for our students . These really helps our students to familiarise them with the style and writtings of these world famous authors.

MERIT DAY

On 21^st June 2011 we conducted our merit day with great pomp and excitement, awards were distributed to those who got full A+ in S S L C & Higher Secondary Examinations and also to the subject toppers.

PRAVESANOLSAVAM

Our Plus One classes started on 27^th June .We gave the new students a most hearty welcome .An orientation class was the chief attraction of the day, led by Sri.Siju Jacob the J C I trainer .

HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMME

A health awareness programme was conducted in our school on 13^th June 2011.

Organised by Manimala Grama Panchayath.Dr Isha Beevi medical officer P H C Manimala led the class.Sri.K.M .Joseph President Manimala Grama Panchayath presided over the function.

ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION

The environment day was celebrated in our school on 6^th June -2011 by distributing saplings to all our students.The saplings of teak,devadaru,sandal wood etc were given.The students took their saplings home and planted it ,which was a nice experince for them.

We the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate,after the example of our Founder Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara consider education integral formation of the human person for the fulfilment of his/her individual and social responsibilities.

We aspire towards creating a just and humane society where dignity of the human person is respected,where unjust social structures are challenged,where our cultural heritage of ahimsa,religious harmony and national integration is upheld,and where the poor and the marginalised are specially taken care of.

Our educational endeavours aim at forming leaders who are intellectually competent,spiritually mature,morally upright,psychologically integrated,physically healthy and socially acceptable who will champion the cause of justice,love,truth and peace and who are ever open to further growth.

The secret of the success of our educational institutions is a community of teachers who are committed to their vocation,professionally competent,morally upright,just and humane in dealings,and who grow in the true vision of education.

We have to reach out to the families,primarily of the students,to assist them in their needs,to share their joys and sorrows,and to help them experience love and freedom so that the students realize that our educational institutions are an extension of their homes.

Our institutions are open to all students irrespective of caste and creed;they are accepted and cherished as they are and are helped to grow in their cultural,social and religious traditions.As they are privileged to be in our institutions,they will have the right to get acquainted with the person of Jesus Christ and his Gospel.Being institutions established and administered by,for a minority community based on religion,they will give preference to Christians in admissions and appointments and have a special concern for the faith formation of the Christian youth

Our institutions have to be open to society at large by making their resources available for the ongoing education and non formal teaching.

For the realization of this CMI goal of education,we expect students,parents and teachers to share this vision and to co-operate with us whole-heartedly.
